The AFS International Shepparton Tournament was established in 2007. More than 1500 players competed in 2016 over two action packed days involving over 110 teams across all age groups from all over Victoria, interstate and overseas.
Boys and Girls teams will compete at one of Australia’s showcase sports precincts, with some of the key features of the complex including the main pavilion, with 530 seat grandstand on the main pitch, two show pitches and a total of nine dedicated pitches with lighting and ample change room spaces and amenities.
Last year’s event saw a combination of NPL, community, interstate and international teams participate in a competitive and respectful manner, adding to a carnival atmosphere with some great skills on display.
The tournament will be held at the Greater Shepparton Regional Sports Precinct Regional Australia’s Premier Football Complex. Over $10 million has been spent on the construction of the community football complex
